Is Kid Mode actually safe for children?
Yes. Kid Mode is fully COPPA compliant — we take your children's safety seriously. Parents know exactly who their children interact with and determine how long via our verifiable parental consent (VPC) system. Kids never see ads, never have their data sold, and parents can revoke access at any time.
What kinds of files can I study from?
PDFs, Word docs, slides, typed notes, photos of handwritten pages, textbook pages, and lecture audio recordings. Preplet turns any of them into summaries, outlines, key terms, flash cards, and quizzes automatically.
Is my content private?
Yes. Your personal study content lives on your device by default. We keep an encrypted backup on our servers strictly for account recovery — we do not train AI models on your content, and we do not sell your data. CoWork group sessions sync only between invited members.
Can I study offline?
Most reading, flash cards, and quizzes work offline once a session has been generated. AI features like Talk to Preplet and new-quiz generation need an internet connection because they call our AI models.
How big can a CoWork group get?
On Freemium you can join a group. On Premium you can host your own CoWork Sessions, invite up to 10 members per group, and share study sets directly with the group. We're experimenting with larger classroom-sized groups — stay tuned.
Can I cancel anytime?
Anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep all your study content even after you downgrade to Freemium. No "gotcha" fees, no retention calls.
